Hello Horror Freaks!

Welcome to Confessions of a Horror Freak, where horror is all year long. This website was launched as a horror blog on June 13, 2020 during the COVID-19 quarantine as a hobby. During the next months it expanded as a YouTube channel and later a podcast where the creator and film critic Amanda publishes her reviews and monthly list of new releases.

Amanda Muñoz Dávila is a 24 years old puertorrican amateur horror film critic who currently resides on Puerto Rico where she was born and raised. It’s currently a member of the Puerto Rico Critics Association (PRCA) and The CherryPicks with a Business Degree in Marketing from the University of the Sacred Heart in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She started watching horror movies at the age of 5 because of her mother. And now just like Wendy Torrance “She’s a horror film addict”.

Over the years she developed a passion for everything related to horror and spooky things. It’s her favorite genre in movies and books, becoming a huge part of her life and personality. A side effect of this is that Halloween became her favorite holiday and that she wear full black outfits all year long. On this website Amanda wants to share her knowledge, opinion, and love on the genre and hopefully encourage you to watch more horror or keep you updated with the latest releases on the genre.

Here you will find film critics of the latest horror releases and monthly list of new releases both theaters and streaming services.

For business inquiries or collaborations you can contact her on: amunozdavila08@gmail.com.
