American Horror Stories Season 2 Ep2: Aura spoiler free review

Your past will haunt you forever. The second episode of American Horror Stories season 2 arrived to Hulu on July 28, 2022. Sadly. this episode doesn’t get close to how good the first episode of this season was.

A married couple is terrorized by a cryptic visitor after they move into a new home.

My opinion

After how good last episode was is expected that the next one is equally or better. But sadly, that wasn’t the case for this one. Aura brings an excellent story but emotionless and anticlimactic, that shock moment was nonexistent. Even the plot becomes predictable as it happens. The only thing that could save this episode is the cast, they did what they could with the scrip but it wasn’t enough.

It felt like this episode had a missing piece becoming flat and slow. There’s still hope that the upcoming episodes are better than this one but until now season 2 can be considered better than season one. It’s even a surprise that after all the negative reviews and comments we have a second season. Only time will tell if they actually heard their audience and made an improvement.
