Film synopsis
The film stars and follows Michael B. Jordan in a dual role as twin brothers Smoke and Stack. The film also features Hailee Steinfeld, Miles Caton (in his film debut), Jack O’Connell, Wunmi Mosaku, Jayme Lawson, Omar Miller, Buddy Guy, and Delroy Lindo.

In 1932 Mississippi, Sammie Moore returns home with a scar and broken guitar, defying his father’s wishes for him to repent. The day before, his cousins, identical twins and WWI veterans Smoke and Stack, return from Chicago to open a jukebar with stolen money. Elsewhere, a man named Remmick, fleeing a Choctaw gang, finds refuge with a couple, but he’s not what he seems. An evil force arrives to the jukebar threatening everything the twins have worked for.
