The Bunker Game (2022) spoiler free review

A really good trailer, a really bad movie. The Bunker Game is a Shudder original directed by Roberto Zazzara. Nos available to watch on the streaming platform. The cast includes Gaia Weiss, Lorenzo Richelmy, Mark Ryder, and Tudor Istodor.

After several mysterious accidents, A Live Action Role Playing game is interrupted and the players leave the bunker while the staff remains behind to investigate the disappearance of Greg, the mastermind of the game.

My opinion

It’s been a while since I had a hard time trying to pay attention to a movie. The Bunker Game had a plot with a lot of potential. A Live Action Role Play around the Nazi on a real bunker could have become on a claustrophobic and horrific experience.

I didn’t felt sorry for the outcome of the character and what happened to them. They’re supposed to be a group that has done this before yet they fell like total strangers. We don’t get to know the character and how they really are.

The trailer gives the film a huge different perspective. It shows the story going on one direction when it goes the total opposite way. At least it doesn’t spoil the film but will trick you. I wouldn’t rewatch this film.
