American Horror Stories Season 2 Ep 1: Dollhouse spoiler free review
After the mix response of the audience to American Horror Stories Season 1 (2021) having a second season wasn’t a good idea. But it looks like the writers heard the complains because a new season is here, and the first episode has gain better response than the whole first season. The remaining seven episodes will air on Thursdays on Hulu.
A job interview goes horribly wrong

My opinion
When the official trailer of the second season was released the general opinion was that it looked better than season one and that it could be better. Those opinions were right, this first episode gives hope of a good season and serves as a reminder of why we like American Horror Story in the first place. The story is simple with a shocking twist at the end that has pleased fans. Just a hint, we return to a fans favorite location and shows a well known character’s origin story.
This episode is set in 1961 with a girl going to a job interview at a toy factory. Of course, things go wrong and she ends kidnapped in a real size dollhouse. Only winning the game that she has to play will secure her life but not her freedom. While the episode becomes a little predictable is still enjoyable with an interesting story. This story wasn’t enough for a whole season but enough for a 43 minutes episode so I’m glad that a second season was made. Season two deserves the chance to prove that can be better than season one.
