The second part of Fear Street is here! If you haven’t already I suggest you to watch the first part Fear Street Part One: 1994 that is already available on Netflix. I also already did a spoiler free and with spoilers review of the film. The review with spoilers you can find it here!

The curse is not over

A summer of fun turns into a gruesome fight for survival as a killer terrorizes Camp Nightwing in the cursed town of Shadyside.

Official plot

My opinion

The curse of Sarah Fier is not over. The film starts right where the first part ended and quickly we are emerged on the events of 1978. Stranger Things’ star Sadie Sink is the female lead on this second part of the story. The plot itself is not predictable but is easy to connect the dots and know what will happen. Younger versions of the first part are featured and old killers make a reappearance. Even after knowing the ending from the very beginning, since it’s told on the first 5 minutes, the movie is enjoyable and fun. It’s a slasher movie on every meaning of the word; teenagers smoking, having sex, and being on a summer camp can’t scream more slasher.

I give this movie 9/10 and a 4.5/5 for continuing the quality of the fist one. Fear Street Part Three: 1666 is coming to Netflix this next Friday July 16, 2021. This will be the conclusion of the Fear Street Trilogy and will go deeper on the story of Sarah Fier.
