Horror in Theme Parks: Universal Studios Horror Nights and Rides
Hello horror freaks! Have you ever went to a theme park? Specifically Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. Well, I have and it’s one of my favorite places in the planet. A few weeks ago I realized that horror movies are present in the theme park all year long, not just during the Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights. And that’s why I want to share with you the horror attractions that Universal Studios Orlando has and the ones that are not anymore.
While I was scrolling on my phone gallery I came across a picture I took of the Mummy attraction in Universal Studios Orlando and that’s when it hit me. The park has horror attractions all year , not just on October with the Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights, but they pass unnoticed. This is why I decided to do my research and make a list of all the horror attractions Universal Studios has and used to have.
Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights
This is an annual event that takes place in Universal Studios theme parks in Florida, California, Japan, and Singapore. The parks remain open by day and they make the transition for the event every night during September and October. It features haunted houses and scare zones since the opening night in October 25, 1991.
