From the mind that brought you Scott Pilgrim vs The World, Ant-Man, and Baby Driver Edgar Wright is gonna take you to the 60s London with a horror twist.

Eloise “Ellie” Turner, a young woman with a passion for fashion design and a strange sixth sense, finds herself transported back in time to 1966 London in the body of an iconic night club singer of the era named Sandie. While in Sandie’s body, Ellie begins a romantic relationship; but she begins to realize that Sandie’s life in the Swinging Sixties is not as glamorous as it appears to be and both past and present begin to fall apart with horrifying consequences.

My opinion

Under the neon lights this film will blend so well the story of the main female characters that it feels like they’re the same person. Ellie and Sandy worlds collide on the world of dreams, but soon it becomes a nightmare that you can’t wake up.

McKenzie and Taylor-Joy did and amazing job on their parts, being both oposite actresses and characters that work perfectly. This film had everything to be a perfect psychological horror thriller, but the less thing that it feels is a horror movie.

I wouldn’t classified it as a psychological horror movie but a triller. It has some jump scares and murder but still it doesn’t make it. The mayor flaw of the film is the predictable plot twist and ending. A really good story that deserved a better ending.

Still, the movie is enjoyable and interesting. Is one that you don’t want to miss. For me is a 7.5/10.
