My opinion

Living With Chucky is a documentary that shows us a behind the scenes of what it’s like to film a horror movie with a robotic doll. It shows us the problems that occur in production so that this doll does not lose its essence without using CGI. There is also a talk about the importance of younger actors and children in the industry, especially the protagonist of this franchise Andy who is the one who has been stalked by Chucky since the first film in 1988. This documentary also shows us how this franchise went from be horror to something funny since from Bride of Chucky the comedy is used together with horror becoming a trademark of the character.

This is an informative documentary narrated chronologically with fun facts and valuable information for fans of the franchise. Unfortunately, the documentary reaches a point where it becomes too long and a bit tedious since, although it lasts 1 hour and 40 minutes, it is too long for the information it provides. Even so, this is a must watch for fans of the franchise who will be able to enjoy this documentary now available on ScreamBox.
