Rating: 5 out of 5.

The latest Mike Flanagan horror series is here. This supernatural horror streaming miniseries is available on Netflix.

The series is about “a small, isolated island community whose existing divisions are amplified by the return of a disgraced young man and the arrival of a charismatic priest”

Official plot

My opinion

If you liked The Haunting of Hill House and The Haunting of Bly Manor you’re going to like Midnight Mass. But a key difference is that instead of ghost a creature will haunt your dreams. Also, no ghost on the background hiding.

With 7 episodes of at least one hour long Midnight Mass is able to leave you on the edge of your seat with a shocking ending. Well written with a good plot twist and no predictable. The soundtrack selection fits perfectly with the scenes and sets the atmosphere.

The casting did an outstanding job bringing to life the characters. They all have their own struggles and they represent the different aspects of religious people. The series touches religion on a closer way and very real when it comes to how people behave, think and live in when they’re believers.

This is a must watch for anyone, it’s a 10/10. No flaws, nothing bad to say about it. Take time to watch it, is a heavy ride but totally worth it.
