Rules to survive a horror movie from Scream (1996)
Hello Horror Freaks! Have you ever asked yourself if you can survive a horror movie? I have and honestly I’m a 100% sure that I will but ONLY IF I follow the rules.
Thanks to Randy Meeks from Scream (1996) we know what we need to do to survive a horror movie.
- You can never have sex. Big no no!
- You can never drink or do drugs. The sin factor!
- Never ever, ever under any circumstances say “I’ll be right back” because you won’t be back.
But we all know the truth: all of this rules are broken later on the movie. That’s what makes Scream one of the best slasher films of all time. Not only Wes Craven was able to revive the slasher sub genre but created a satire of the genre with horror clichés and black humor. Truly a masterpiece. Even we have the rules to survive the SEQUEL.
- The body count is always bigger
- The death scenes are much more elaborate, with more blood and gore.
- Never, ever, under any circumstances assume the killer is dead.
Now you know the rules, is up to you to follow them or assume the fact that you’re not gonna make it to the end or the sequel.
– Stu: “I’m gonna get one beer. You want one?”
– Randy: “Yes, sure”
